1947 - Valley began manufacturing trailer hitches in the California Central Valley as a means of helping farmers transport their crops to market. The goal of the original founders was for Valley to provide better ways for people to tow trailers safely and effectively. Over time, the Valley product line was expanded to include trailer balls, tow hooks, weight distributing hitches, wiring kits and other items that answered increasingly sophisticated and demanding towing needs of the modern driver. Business doubled and continued to double, and product line and distribution increased to include the 48 contiguous states, including many successful ventures with automotive original equipment manufacturers.

1991 - Valley opened a manufacturing operation in Madison Heights, Mich., to focus on the growing OEM portion of its business. Strategically positioned, Valley is now located closer to much of its OEM customer base in order to better service their needs.

1999 - Valley’s Madison Heights OEM trailer hitch operations location separates from Lodi, creating two separate entities ¾ the North American OEM hitch business and the North American Aftermarket hitch business. The aftermarket segment continues to operate under its original name, Valley, with administrative, manufacturing, and warehouse offices located in Lodi,Calif. The other business becomes Valley Automotive, and continues to service the North American OEM market in the supply of complete towing systems and related accessories.

2007 - Valley marks 60 years of providing quality towing products and ensuring customer satisfaction – the goals of yesterday, and tomorrow.

2010 - Valley starts a new chapter with the combined power of Revstone.

Products - Valley offers its customers state-of-the-art engineering, product testing and manufacturing technology to ensure that its hitches, towing systems and accessories meet or exceed industry standards and specifications. Valley strives to be first in the marketplace with the newest applications. It presents trailer hitch designs which are easy to install and also maximize towing capacity.
Valley was the first in the industry to offer commercially packaged products that could be shipped throughout the country to traditional warehouse distributors, jobbers, retail dealers and installers, and the company produces more than 400 different vehicle application trailer hitches, including a complete line of 5^th Wheel and Gooseneck trailer hitch products.
As towing needs have changed over the years, so has Valley, in order to provide its customers the best towing experience available. One of the company’s newest offerings is the Power Pull™ Xtreme series of products designed for heavy-duty towing. The Power Pull family includes a Class V receiver hitch rated for 12,000 pounds weight carrying and 15,000 pounds weight distributing capacity, a double-pivot 5th Wheel hitch rated for 20,000 pounds and a round bar weight distributing hitch rated for up to 1,700 pounds tongue weight and 15,000 pounds gross trailer weight.
